His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco is known as the
King who has dedicated his life to the poor children of
Morocco. Several royal projects he has chaired aim to
develop children's education and skills in Morocco, since
he believes that children are not just merely the future
but are important resources and the strength of the nation.
Through the devotion and diligence of H.M. King Mohammed
to promote the education of poor children in Morocco,
the country will be able to rapidly develop through
a good base of human resources. At present, Morocco
is considered to be Africa’s most outstanding &
modern country.
To celebrate World Children Day in Morocco and to honour
the Royal request of King Mohammed VI, the Mayer Mint
– Germany minted the prestigious legal tender golden
coin under the authority of the Central Bank of Morocco.
The treasure depicts H.M The King of Morocco on the
obverse surrounded by the words: “Mohammed VI Kingdom
of Morocco” in Arabic calligraphy. The reverse
shows the symbol of the importance of education for
the children of the world.
