The sacred cube shape stone which is respected as
the centre of the world – the Ka’abah
is located within the holy Mosque of Mecca in Saudi
Arabia. Each year millions of Muslim visit this
divine city and perform a “Tawaf” or
circumfering during their pilgrimage (Hajj). Moreover,
since the holy stone is praised to be the centre
of their faith and the world, all Muslims are commanded
to face this sacred landmark – Mecca of the
Islamic world, when they recite and pray.
The holy Mosque of Mecca and the holy stone of Ka’abah
are the centre of Muslim faith. To commemorate the
belief of the Islamic people and their response
to the divine call of Allah, The Mayer Mint - Germany
